"If we follow the fearful voices in the church today warning us about the evils and enemies that surround us, we’ll soon discover that we will never be safe enough. We can never separate far enough. We can never build a wall high enough. Somehow, the infection will always gets through. Rather than working tenaciously to separate ourselves from the world, instead we should follow the example of the hemorrhaging women who tenaciously worked to get closer to Jesus. Ultimately, it’s not our isolation from non-Christians that makes us pure, but our intimate connection to Christ himself."
